The Employee shall support (i.e., create, update, and maintain) web sites across multiple platforms.
The Employee shall support (i.e., create, update, and maintain) tools across multiple platforms.
The Employee shall work collaboratively as a member of an Engineering Team and be responsible for contributing to designs, leading communication to the Customer and/or supporting the team in other functions as needed.
The Employee shall collaborate with Customer partners to deliver web-based solutions.
The Employee shall provide full life cycle support (i.e., design, develop, deliver, and maintain) to high-level mission applications for executive level customer base.
The Employee shall transition Lotus Notes Databases into web-based applications.
The Employee shall use programming languages such as ASPX, C#, DOM, PHP, JQuery, CAML, and JavaScript.
The Employee shall use tools such as Sharepoint, Talkabout, Adobe Creative Suite, Joomla, and WordPress.
The Employee shall be able to provide oral and written status reports at the executive level.
The Employee shall elicit requirements.
The Employee shall develop project plans.
The Employee shall develop schedules.
The Employee shall investigate potentially applicable IT solutions and tools.
The Employee shall recommend transition strategy for moving legacy systems to new solutions.
The Employee shall enhance current applications.
The Employee shall improve the user experience by creating use cases prior to any deployments and reviewing the use cases to determine the quality of the system.
The Employee shall develop and maintain applications for the Customer.
The Employee shall manage application overhaul projects.
The Employee shall create project artifacts such as design standards, information architectures, wireframes, and concept models.
The Employee shall implement designs.
The Employee shall attend meetings such as weekly staff meetings, Technical Exchange and other forums.
The Employee shall use JIRA or SharePoint to manage and track requirements.
The Employee shall provide project status during weekly staff meeting to include project prioritization.
The Employee shall have the following required skills and demonstrated experience:
• Demonstrated experience with Lotus Notes
• Demonstrated experience developing Sharepoint sites
• Demonstrated experience using software such as Adobe, Joomla; WordPress and Talkabout
• Demonstrated experience using programming languages such as JavaScript/JQuery, and PHP
• Demonstrated experience using modern web frameworks such as React or Angular
• Demonstrated experience using the Document Object Model (DOM)
• Demonstrated experience consulting with technical partners
• Demonstrated experience evaluating solutions to meet enterprise and mission specific needs
• Demonstrated experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences
Other demonstrated experiences which are highly desired, though not required, include:
• Demonstrated experience assisting customers to identify and select replacement tools or solutions
• Demonstrated experience using CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools such as Flow Chart maker, report generators, and analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience working with Customer external and internal IT partners
• Demonstrated experience with web-based collection platforms
• Demonstrated experience with data flow quality assurance
