The Administrative Assistant will be an integral part of the team and must be a team player with a posItIve, can-do attitude. They will assist the Deans and PMs with building a new academy from scratch, to include assisting with scheduling a multitude of meetings and preparation of course and classroom material for our future courses. They must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, grammatically correct and concise manner. Good, interpersonal skills are required to maintain effective working relationships with team, students, and customers. Ability to establish administrative contacts and professional relationships for networking and liaison across the customer and other government agencies.
Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities. Ability to learn and perform routine tasks. Arrival and departure times will mostly be standard (and we will be flexible) yet there may be times where the candidate will be asked to arrive early or stay late to meet the demands of a given course. The AA will be expected to work standard core hours of 0900-1500 and may be required to adjust their schedule to arrive early or depart late (with plenty of notice) in order to support courses that likely will begin at 0800 and end at 1700. Additionally, if courses are held offsite, the candidate may need to drive their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for travel. Course schedules and locations are currently in transition so flexibility is expected.
